Felix Juefei Xu

Felix Juefei Xu is a Research Scientist with GenAI at Meta, based in New York City, where he works on robust perception and efficient learning problems in the domain of generative AI. Previously, he was a Research Scientist with Alibaba Group, based in Sunnyvale, CA. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Prior to that, he received the M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and the M.S. degree in Machine Learning from CMU, and the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. He is the recipient of multiple best/distinguished paper awards, including IJCB 2011, BTAS 2015 and 2016, ASE 2018, and ACCV 2018.
