Laurens van der Maaten

Laurens is a Research Scientist at Facebook AI Research in New York. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant professor at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California, San Diego. Laurens received his Ph.D. from Tilburg University (The Netherlands). With collaborators from Cornell University, he won the Best Paper Award at CVPR 2017. Laurens' interests range from machine learning to computer vision.
