I. Zeki Yalniz

I. Zeki is a research scientist at Facebook. He joined the Applied Machine Learning (AML) team as a research scientist in May 2017. Previously he worked at A9/Amazon.com as an applied scientist for 3.5 years. I. Zeki holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, 2013, as well as a BS and a MS degrees in computer engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. He is broadly interested in combining computer vision and information retrieval concepts to offer practical solutions for data and/or computation intense problems.
